A new wine from Ceritas, the 2022 Chardonnay TBH is named for The Barlow Homestead, a vineyard near DuMOL that they started working with in 2021. The first vineyard-designated vintage of the wine to be released, it pours a bright straw silver color and offers fresh notes of Meyer lemon zest, green pear, and yellow flowers, along with a delicate salty flourish. It exhibits fantastic tension for this sunny vintage, with good concentration and a weightless, pithy, chalky feel. Fantastic, mouthwatering, and long, it’s only going to improve if given another couple of years in bottle. Drink 2025-2037.
