1996 Condado de Haza Tinto

Saturated ruby-red to the rim. Complex, subtly oaky aromas of black raspberry, cherry, espresso and cinnamon. Dense but bright red fruit flavor enlivened by fresh acids; quite seamless in the middle palate. Finishes very long, with fine tannins, strong fresh fruit, and a slightly clenched impression. Needs at least a couple years of additional bottle aging.
