Note di degustazione
Pale ruby, the 2016 Pinot Noir Emmaline Ann Vineyard opens with iodine, graphite and tea leaves with dried cranberry and blackberry fruit. The medium-bodied palate bursts with detailed fruits streaked with bright mineral and citrus accents. It has a firm, ripe frame and very juicy finish packed with flavor. It's a powerful expression that will age well in the cellar.

Similar in style, the 2016 Pinot Noir Emmaline Ann Vineyard also saw the same 22 months in 30% new French oak barrels. Black raspberries, smoked applewood, candied orange, and forest floor notes all emerge from this vibrant exotic, focused beauty. It's not for those craving overt power or richness and it's one of those wines that builds with time in the glass and shines for its complex and elegance. Give this beauty 2-3 years of bottle age and it will keep for over a decade. 225 cases.
The 2016 Emmaline-Ann Vineyard is dark and powerful, with more of a distinct sense of whole cluster savoriness and to match its insistent structural feel. Pine, mint, black cherry, citrus, licorice and dried flowers add aromatic intrigue to this dark, beautifully layered Pinot Noir. This is another stellar wine from Ross Cobb.
