2011 Arkenstone Obsidian

The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Obsidian from the black, rocky, marble-like soils found in a few areas of California emerges from Howell Mountain. This dark ruby/purple-colored 2011 possesses blackcurrant and blackberry fruit, excellent ripeness, medium body and sweet tannins. It lacks some complexity and majestic richness (but then again, it’s a 2011), it should drink well for 7-8 years.
