2012 Camille Giroud Morey-Saint-Denis Les Chaffots 1er Cru

Beams of brilliant acidity and minerality give the 2012 Morey St. Denis Les Chaffots much of its precision. Sweet herbs, flowers, mint and dark red berries are all very much alive in the glass. The 2012 needs a few years to soften, but it is striking and hugely delicious. This is a terrific showing from Camille Giroud.
