The 2021 Pinot Noir Mineral Springs Ranch takes some time to shake off brown sugar and baking spice on the nose and reveal stewed strawberry and raspberry, damp earth and dried herbs. The light-bodied palate is chalky and refreshing with an understated core of fruit and a spicy finish. It will benefit from 2-3 years in bottle.

The 2021 Pinot Noir Mineral Springs Ranch comes to life in the glass: suggestions of cola, rubbed sage, and dark chocolate complicate peppery wild berries. It's soft and round with brilliant acidity and fresh red and blue fruits swirling throughout. A mineral tension slowly builds as the 2021 finishes long and lightly structured with a slowly fading saturation of tart berry concentration. Patience will be required.
