2010 TOR Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

(from Cimarossa, Mast and To Kalon vineyards): Dark ruby-red. Captivating, rather wild nose melds cassis, licorice pastille, black olive and dusty herbs. Sweet, vibrant and elegant, with moderate density but sneaky intensity to the complex flavors of redcurrant, dusty spices, cocoa powder, flowers and wild herbs. A very suave and successful blend (it included all of the Cimarossa fruit in 2010), finishing with building tannins and slowly rising floral perfume.
