Bright ruby. Strongly aromatic bouquet offers fresh red berries, cherry, yellow rose and Asian spices. Taut, sharply focused strawberry and raspberry flavors combine energy with depth, gaining sweetness with air. Cool and finely balanced, with wonderful clarity and finishing minerality. This is really elegant.

The 2006 Pinot Noir Terra Neuma exhibited austerity and leanness on the day I tasted it. The wine has a good dark ruby color, some harder tannins, and may just need time to flesh out and exhibit more character.
