The 2020 Nervo Heritage Wine is powerful, but also compact. Dark fruit, licorice, spice and earthy notes start to open, but ultimately, the Nervo lacks the mid-palate presence and texture of the best vintages. The aromatics are so alluring, and the 2020 comes across as aggressive and lean.
