Another cuvée from ancient vines (late 1800s), the 2019 Old Hill Ranch Heritage gives up a complex, medium to full-bodied, richly textured style as well as red plum fruits, notes of peppery herbs and dried flowers, ripe yet firm tannins, terrific overall balance, and a great finish. I love the purity of fruit, and it's going to offer loads of pleasure over the coming 8-10 years.

Sweet, perfumed aromatics and silky tannins frame this exquisitely beautiful, vivid heritage wine. Old Hill is a classic Sonoma ranch planted with a Zinfandel-based field blend that in this case includes more than 30 varieties.
