Note di degustazione
75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Cabernet Franc. 19 months in French oak. Oak and fruit seem un-knit at present, with sappy, cedary spices dominating both nose and finish. Smooth tannin, savoury finish, strong bitter olive flavours on the length. (RH)

A blend of 98% Cabernet Franc and 2% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2014 Red Wine sports a deep garnet-purple color and profoundly scented nose of black cherries, mulberries and red currants with a cedar-laced undercurrent and hints of cloves, bay leaves and menthol. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is firmly structured with chewy tannins and just enough freshness lifting the densely packed black berry and oak-laced flavors, finishing with herb and spice layers. Give it 3-5 years in bottle and drink it over the next 20.
A red with lots of blackcurrant and chocolate character on the nose and palate. Full to medium body, good fruit and a friendly tannin backbone.
This blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Cabernet Franc is a beauty. Dense ruby/purple, with notes of camphor, incense, blue and black fruits and forest floor, the wine hits the palate with a medium to full-bodied mouthfeel, beautiful fruit purity, integrated acidity, tannin and an elegant, long finish. This is another example of Napa Cabernet at its quintessentially most elegant. Drink it over the next 15-20 years.
