Note di degustazione
The 2020 Chardonnay Charles Heintz Vineyard is soft, open-knit and ready to go. Hints of tangerine oil, lemon confit, pastry and passionfruit lend a touch of exoticism that is attractive. This is Heintz, played at very soft volume.

The Charles Heintz Vineyard is an exceptional site that was planted in 1982 on Goldridge sandy loam. the most layered and intense of the wines in its aromas, the 2020 Chardonnay Charles Heintz Vineyard is expressive with flinty reduction, pineapple, yellow apple, and white flowers, while the palate is consistent and ripe with honeysuckle and pear. Its sunny feel makes this open to drinking now, though it will improve over the coming ten or more years. Founded by three childhood friends, Christopher Strieter, Max Thieriot, and Myles Lawrence-Briggs, Senses Wines has their estate holdings in the West Sonoma Coast and Russian River Valley appellations. With their esteemed winemaker, Thomas Rivers Brown, they are producing some exceptional Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and a small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon. They have slowly and steadily expanded their production from just 600 cases in 2012 to approximately 5000 cases today.
The 2020 Chardonnay Charles Heintz Vineyard opens with some flinty reduction over aromas of white peaches and almonds. The light-bodied palate is flinty and tangy at this stage, with a silky texture and delicately perfumed finish. 380 cases were made.
