The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Calistoga comes from Larkmead's old Olmo clone of Cabernet (Clone 2). It offers up scents of red berries and cherries yet also a dark chocolate, mocha-tinged note. It's full-bodied, concentrated and rich, tannic but silky, with excellent persistence on the finish. (JC)

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon (Calistoga), from old vines at Larkmead, is a dark, potent wine. Big, muscular tannins wrap around a core of dark red/purplish fruit, game, scorched earth, tobacco and dried herbs. This potent Cabernet is pure Calistoga in its flavor profile and feel.
