2004 Twomey Merlot

The 2004 Merlot (93% Merlot and 7% Cabernet Franc) exhibits plenty of earth, herb, mocha, and sweet cherry and currant fruit in its ripe, oaky style. The impressive attack is followed by a dry, austere finish without the necessary depth of fruit and texture to back up the wood and structure.
