(tasted from an American oak puncheon, where it was awaiting bottling) Ruby-red. Complex aromas of currant, black cherry, violet, tar, tobacco leaf and eucalyptus. Supple and sweet, with flavors similar to the aromas. Nicely fleshy and concentrated, with sound acidity. Tannins are quite firm, but the wine is juicy and sweet.
