2012 Merry Edwards Pinot Noir Coopersmith

Lavender, plum, sage, rosemary and new leather are some of the notes that emerge from the 2012 Pinot Noir Coopersmith. This is one of the more floral savory Pinots in the range, but at the same time, the alcohol is a bit pronounced, which throws the wine's balance off a bit. I don't see the level of textural finesse that the best of these wines offer.
