Note di degustazione
Sweet black fruits and a little cough syrup on the nose. Quite medicinal, but still mineral and bright. Reductive at this stage. Supple tannins, violets, sweet red fruits and clove. Bright acidity comes in waves. Sweet and herbal in equal measure. (TP)

Aged for 21 months in oak, all old. Wonderfully meaty character on the nose with peppery notes and beautifully pure black fruit. Silky tannins with zipped-up acidity giving lovely tension. Profound and long. Quite fiery on the finish, but entirely in balance. Succulent and refreshing with wonderful juiciness to finish, plus something granitic and slaty on the length. (RH)
The 2012 Syrah Timbervine includes 17% whole clusters and spent 21 months in 500-liter oak pungeons. It exhibits notes of roasted meats, herbs, bouquet garni, licorice, pepper, blackberries and black currants. Long, rich and lusty, this is a much bigger, denser Syrah than the Cherry Camp cuvée. Drink now-2023.
Bright violet color. A highly perfumed bouquet evokes blackberry, blueberry and incense, with a suave floral overtone. Weighty yet graceful and precise, offering sweet black and blue fruit flavors with complicating candied violet and licorice qualities. Impressively fresh and focused syrah, with strong finishing spiciness, gentle tannins and a lingering note of floral pastilles. Distinctly elegant in style, and surprisingly approachable at this early stage.
