(80% new oak; a selection of the best barrels, mostly from the Sebastopol Vineyard): Full yellow-gold. Orange, fresh apricot and floral honey on the nose. Lush, rich and expansive but with captivating orange-y acidity and a flavor of citrus zest giving verve to the mid-palate. Wonderfully pliant, long chardonnay with a finishing flavor of ripe pear.
