2015 Del Dotto Cabernet Sauvignon Rutherford Estate Family Reserve

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Rutherford Estate Family Reserve (a barrel sample) has a deep garnet-purple color and nose of crushed black cherries, blackberries and red and black currants with touches of dried herbs, damp soil and garrigue. Full-bodied with firm, chewy tannins supporting the generous black fruit and earthy layers, it has a lovely herbal lift to the long finish.
