The 2018 Estate Syrah Les Titans is made in a classic cool-climate style, with pure violet perfume that floats across fresh blackcurrant fruit, plus notes of aniseed, chargrill and earth. The medium-bodied palate is firm, fresh, pure and perfumed, with a long, layered finish. If you enjoy Syrah with more perfume and uplift than overt, ripe fruit, look no further than this. 275 cases were made.

The 2018 Syrah Estate Les Titans is one of the great Syrahs of California. Deep and wonderfully savory, with mind-blowing balance, the Titans has it all. In most vintages, the Titans is very peppery and savory, but the 2018 it is so well-balanced that nothing in particular stands out. Perhaps the late season heat baked some of the slightly herbal notes that are so typical. Regardless, the 2018 is a fabulous wine in every way.
