Note di degustazione
The 2021 Pinot Noir Calegari Vineyard comes from vines planted in the late 1990s in decomposed, iron-rich, volcanic soils on Eastside Road. Matured in 53% new oak for 16 months, it opens with soaring scents of mixed berry preserves and nuances of iron, charcuterie, lavender, orange oil and botanicals. The medium-bodied palate features concentrated, detailed flavors. It’s structured by powdery tannins and seamless acidity and has a long, spicy finish. It will benefit from 3-5 years in bottle. 641 cases were made.

Blueberry and green-top strawberry with violets and orange peel. Hints of cream. Very aromatic. Full body. Open-grain texture. Flavorful finish. Savory and juicy. Drink or hold.
