Note di degustazione
Deep red. Darker in profile and fruit character than the Sonoma coast bottling, displaying scents of blackberry, cherry-cola and licorice. Offers densely packed bitter cherry and black raspberry flavors and a touch of cracked pepper. Gains weight and power with air and finishes chewy, spicy and very long, with firming tannins adding grip.

One of the more precise, chiseled wines in the range, the 2012 Pinot Noir Tina Marie stands out for its nuance and the delineation of its flavors. Dark red cherry, plum, licorice, cloves and crushed rocks meld together in a vibrant, tense Pinot loaded with class and complexity. This is a great example of the house style, and also one of the more distinctly savory wines in the lineup. As is the norm here, the Tina Marie was not racked during aging and was bottled unfined and unfiltered. Today, the color is a bit cloudy, which is not a reflection of quality, just one of the wine's attributes. It is possible that with bottle age the cloudiness will dissipate a bit, but I don't expect it will fully disappear.
