82% Sauvignon Blanc, 4% Sauvignon Musqué, 14% Sémillon. Fruit sourced from Ryan’s Vineyard in Oak Knoll. Medium lemon in colour. Caramelised lemon curd, mint and chive blossom on the nose. It has a light rubberiness – almost petrol-like but not as intense. The palate is flavourful, with a pithy, bitter citrus bite, high, fresh acid and a chewy richness to it. The finish evolves flavours of caramel and butterscotch. (SCJ)

86% Sauvignon Blanc, 14% Sémillon. Made by Françoise Peschon for the Araujo family. Lovely freshness on the nose with a light touch of grapefruit pith, white fig and a hint of sweet citrus like clementine carries through the palate as well. The wine is in an elegant phase of ageing with a silken mouthfeel and a slightly introspective character. Still, there is plenty of flavour intensity with a pleasing mix of fruits, a savoury through line, an impressive textural mouthfeel and lots of length. (ECB)
Accendo's 2016 Sauvignon Blanc is gorgeous. Aromatic and structured, with terrific intensity, the 2016 is captivating from the very first taste. Lemon confit, white flowers, almonds and chamomile are nicely delineated, but it is the wine's distinctiveness that stands out most. What a gorgeous wine it is.
The 2016 Sauvignon Blanc is rich, ample and expressive, with notable textural depth and resonance. Varietal Sauvignon Blanc aromatics meld into generous fruit in this creamy, pedigreed white from Bart and Daphne Araujo. I find the 2016 quite a bit more giving today than the 2015, which is the exact opposite of what I would have expected.
