Note di degustazione
Medium ruby-purple colored, the 2014 Pinot Noir Foss Vineyard is scented of red currants, kirsch, rose petals and Provence herbs with a touch of forest floor. Light to medium-bodied, there is a beautiful quiet intensity about this wine, framed by soft, silken tannins and finishing with a refreshing lift.

The 2014 Pinot Noir Foss Vineyard is one of the most linear and focused of the Russian River Pinots in this lineup. There is no shortage of depth or overall intensity, but the Foss is a wine that emphasizes persistence over the more exuberant style that is often found in the Russian River. Bright red cherry, pomegranate, chalk, white flowers and mint lead into the powerful driving finish. I would give the 2014 another year or two for the tannins to unwind a bit.
