Medium ruby-purple, the 2016 Pinot Noir Fort Ross Vineyard has a broody nose of warm blueberries, boysenberries, black cherries and baked blackberries with hints of smoked charcuterie, peppercorn, potpourri and a classy undercurrent of new oak spice. In the mouth, it's light to medium-bodied with concentrated fruit layers opening out like a fan to spicy accents, firmly framed and seamlessly lifted on the very long, spicy finish. 718 cases produced.

Williams Selyem is an iconic Russian River Valley winery best known for its Pinot Noir. Producing restrained yet classically Californian expressions of the heartbreak grape (as well as a host of other wines), the property has gone from pioneer to one of the region’s standard-bearers.
