Punteggio 93/100 · Da bere 2020-2030, Erin Brooks, Wine Advocate, Dec 2019

Pale to medium ruby-purple, the 2017 Pinot Noir Fort Ross Vineyard offers lovely layers of dried herbs, brambly fruits, spiced cranberries and citrus peel on the nose with accents of saline, aniseed, earth, dried herbs and bark. It's light to medium-bodied with intense, slowly blossoming flavors knit by very ripe, grainy tannins and great freshness, finishing very long and energetic. 802 cases produced.

Punteggio 93/100 · James Suckling, Sep 2019

This has an element of leafy and floral notes with some quite rich fruit. Blueberries and raspberries, as well as some spicy, loamy earth. The palate has plush, silky tannins and a very fluid, smoothly fleshy pocket of flavor that sits round on the finish. Drink or hold.

The 2017 Pinot Noir Foss Vineyard is pliant, juicy and forward, all of which make it easy to drink and enjoy pretty much upon release. Black cherry, plum, chocolate, licorice and spice all add to the wine's dark profile.
