Pale to medium salmon-pink in color, the 2018 Ode to Lulu Old Vine Rosé, from vines planted in 1922, is scented of yellow peach, raspberries, cantaloupe and fresh chopped herbs with notions of crushed rock and saline. The light to medium-bodied palate gives up oodles of ripe fruit layers tempered by a mineral streak and mouthwatering acidity, finishing long and flavorful.

Limpid orange. Vibrant, mineral-tinged strawberry, cherry and floral scents, along with suggestions of orange pith and fresh herbs. Hefty red berry and bitter orange pith flavors show impressive clarity and a surprisingly light touch thanks to a core of juicy acidity. Finishes chewy and long, showing nervy tension and insistent red berry and floral notes.
