2001 Behrens Family Merlot Napa Valley

Medium ruby. Vibrant, pure aromas of blueberry, blackberry, violet and bitter chocolate. A sappy fruit bomb in the mouth, with flavors of pure crushed dark berries. Not especially complex but in a distinctly crowd-pleasing style. Finishes with good but not outstanding length and a touch of dryness.
