Beau Vigne's 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve delivers classic cassis notes accented by hints of baking spices. A blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon with 3% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc, it's full-bodied, even a bit chocolaty-ripe, with supple tannins and a long, velvety finish. It's a fine effort.

Another ripe yet balanced, opulent wine under this label, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Signature Series Reserve is 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petit Verdot, and 2% Cabernet Franc. Ripe plums, cassis, tobacco, and chalky minerality all define the aromatics, and it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, beautiful tannins, and a rich, concentrated, yet surprisingly graceful and balanced style. This big, sexy, hedonistic bomb of a wine should evolve for 15 years or more.
