(includes the old Wente clones that normally make up the reserve bottling) Hazy appearance. Complex aromas of peach, honey, spices and grilled nuts. Spicy, ripe and soft, with an impression of elevated alcohol. The pH here is on the low side yet the acids are nicely integrated. A very dry style of chardonnay with modest nuance. Dehlinger sold off nearly half of his very large chardonnay crop in 2000.
