Punteggio 93/100 · Jeb Dunnuck, Jun 2018

In addition to brilliant Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs, this estate makes a bevy of beautiful Syrahs, most seeing a small amount of whole clusters and 18-19 months in 20-30% new French oak. Côte Rôtie-like raspberry, bacon fat, smoked earth, and graphite emerge from the 2015 Syrah Las Colinas, which is medium-bodied, seamless, and elegant on the palate. A blend from Cherry Camp, Timberline, and Dusty Lane, it's pure class and I suspect will keep for 10-15 years.

Punteggio 94/100 · Da bere 2020-2030, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Apr 2018

Now that it is in bottle, the 2015 Syrah Las Colinas is every bit as beautiful as it was from barrel. Punchy red-toned fruits, tobacco, smoke, rose petal, mint and white flowers give the 2015 a distinctly bright, lifted personality to play off the beautifully resonant, generous fruit.

Punteggio 91-94/100 · Da bere 2019-2027, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Mar 2017

The 2015 is dark, rich and voluptuous, with soft contours and striking balance. Today, it comes across as a wine that will drink well with minimal cellaring. The exuberant side of the year comes through in the wine's racy, inky blue/purplish-toned fruit. There is quite a bit of brightness as well, but the fruit profile is a bit darker than is the norm here. Even so, the interplay of fruit intensity and freshness is simply compelling.
