Note di degustazione
Deep red-ruby. Dark berries, black cherry, crushed stone and violet on the nose. Lush, sweet and highly concentrated but closed today owing to its strong stony component. But there's superb richness to the flavors of dark fruits and red licorice, along with compelling, subtle soil tones. Probably best on the horizontal back end, which features a dusty impression of extract, terrific length and lovely aromatic lift. I would not be surprised to see this wine merit an even higher score in seven or eight years.

Quite rich, dense and charming without being at all sweet. Satin texture. The fruit only just masks all that acidity but it manages it. Very intense yet very refreshing. (JR)
Good dark red with ruby highlights. Sexy aromas of strawberry, raspberry, pomegranate, flowers and milk chocolate. Suave, lush and palate-caressing, with exotically ripe red berry flavors conveying a lovely sweetness. Very smooth wine with a mineral firmness on the back. As in some recent vintages, this presents itself like a smaller-scaled Musigny.
