The 2020 Sauvignon Blanc 29 Estate is rich and super-expressive from start to finish. Lemon confit, tangerine peel, spice and buttery notes are all dialed up. Light tropical notes build into the creamy, expansive finish. The 2020 spent 20 months in barrel, quite long for Sauvignon Blanc. I imagine most readers focus on the Cabernets at Vineyard 29, and with good reason, but the Sauvignon Blanc is high up on my list of the most distinctive wines made here.
