One of the most expensive Sauvignons in this report, the 2016 Sauvignon Blanc 29 Estate Blanc (100% Sauvignon Blanc brought up all in new oak) nevertheless delivers the goods. It has a vibrant gold (with a hint of green) color as well as Haut Brion Blanc-like notes of crushed citrus, liquid rock, white flowers, and honeysuckle. It's rich, full-bodied, beautifully concentrated, and layered, and it puts just about every other Sauvignon Blanc in Napa Valley to shame. Why are there not more Sauvignon Blancs like this in the valley? Bravo!

Medium to full-bodied, the palate delivers serious texture and depth with an amazing array of tropical and citrus fruit sparks carried by a racy line of freshness and finishing very long.
