The 2015 Ampersand shows the exotic personality of the vintage off to great effect. Dense and racy, the Ampersand presents a whole range of dark fruit, chocolate, leather, smoke and licorice accents. Racy and forward, the 2015 will be easy to drink young, although another year or so in bottle will help the tannins soften a touch further.

The 2015 Ampersand is plump, juicy and delicious. Succulent red cherry, plum, smoke, leather and scorched earth aromas give the 2015 lovely aromatic complexity to play off the dark plum and raspberry jam flavors. Soft and open-knit, with no hard edges, the Ampersand is a very pretty second wine from Levy & McClellan. The natural radiance of 2015 is very much in evidence.
