2015 Hirsch Pinot Noir Estate Reserve

The 2015 Pinot Noir Estate Reserve is a powerful, structured wine. Based on this tasting, I am not sure the Reserve has enough fruit to stand up to its formidable tannins, but time will ultimately be the judge of that. For now (and I think also for the future) there is more pleasure to be found in some of the other wines in the range. Today, the Reserve is massively tannic and shut down.
