2006 Clark-Claudon Cabernet Sauvignon Estate

The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate reveals a similar dark ruby/purple color with some lightening at the edge. The nose is more restrained and locked in, but with significant coaxing, aromas of cedar box, forest floor, roasted herbs, charcoal, and black currants began to emerge. The mouth confirms the restrained aromatics. Tannic and medium-bodied with hardness as well as austerity, this French-like 2006 does not come close to the quality of the 2005. Tel. (707) 965-9393
