Note di degustazione
Bright ruby-red. Brooding aromas of cassis, black cherry, menthol, dark chocolate and espresso. Fine-grained and lively, with lovely herbal/floral lift to its intense, slightly medicinal flavors of black cherry, dark berries, licorice and menthol. Subtle torrefaction nuances add interest. Not a powerhouse or particularly expansive but finishes with solid acidity and firm tannic spine. This will yet improve--and possibly expand and loosen up further--but it already offers considerable appeal today owing to its refinement and subtle sweetness. (ST)

The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Entre Deux Meres wraps around the palate with serious depth and power. Plums, mocha, espresso and spices all jump from the glass in this sexy, voluptuous wine. Round, sweet and inviting, the 2008 Entre Deux Meres captures the best qualities of the year. Although not super-complex, the 2008 is flat out delicious and incredibly appealing. (AG)
Fruit forward style yet dried flowers and autumn leafs come through as well. Full with ripe, soft tannins. Give it a few years to show what it has.
This smells very Bordeaux with cassis bush, fresh herbs, and hints of oak with some earthiness too. Full bodied, with round and velvety tannins and a fruity finish. A little hollow in the mid-palate and jammy but I like it.
