Punteggio 95/100 · Da bere 2015-2025, Robert Parker, Oct 2015

The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Entre-Deux-Mères is a classic take on Cabernet Sauvignon, never cheating the consumer on density, complexity or ageabilty. The 2012, as one might expect, is brilliant. About 740 cases were produced from a blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot. True to form, the wine has an opaque ruby/purple color and a beautiful nose of pen ink, graphite, blackcurrants, white chocolate and subtle background earth. Terrific fruit intensity, a full-bodied, layered mouthfeel, impressive purity and overall personality jump from the glass of this brilliant wine that is just beginning to drink well, which is in keeping with the personality of most 2012s. This is a beauty and fairly priced for such a great Cabernet from Napa Valley in a great vintage.

The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Entre Deux Meres from Lisa Drinkward and Françoise Peschon is super-refined and polished to the core. Dark red stone fruits, blackberries, flowers and spices blossom as the wine brightens up nicely in the glass. Drinkward Peschon's 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Entre Deux Meres is one of the very finest values in Napa Valley.

Punteggio 94/100 · Da bere 2022-2032, Antonio Galloni, Vinous

The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Entre Deux Mères is a big, rich wine. Black cherry, gravel, incense, licorice, cloves and chocolate all are nicely amplified. Even with all of that richness, the 2012 has good energy and fine balance in the mid-weight style of the year. There's still plenty of energy and tension here. Most of this fruit is from Blossom Creek (also known as Amoenus) in Calistoga and Criscione in St. Helena, now owned by Sullivan.
