Vivid red. Pungent aromas of candied dark berries and lavender, with a peppery topnote. Juicy, expansive black raspberry and floral pastille flavors show excellent depth and put on weight with air. Changes a lot in the glass, taking a turn to blueberry and finishing sweet and lively, with firm grip and floral persistence.

Dark red cherries, sweet tobacco, dried herbs, leather and orange peel meld together in the 2012 Pinot Noir Terra di Promissio. This earthy, supple Pinot is an excellent choice for drinking over the next handful of years, while the fruit retains its pliant, juicy personality.
