Note di degustazione
The barrel-fermented 2021 Sauvignon Blanc Les Petits Morlet provides a home for barrels of Sauvignon Blanc (and up to about 15% Sémillon) that don't make the cut for inclusion in La Proportion Dorée. Scents of grapefruit, gooseberry, fig and melon mark the nose, while the medium to full-bodied palate is plump and generous, showing ample richness in the mouth and decent length on the finish.

A bright straw color, the 2021 Sauvignon Blanc Les Petits Morlet is savory and fresh with notes of white peach, saline, chive, beeswax, and melon rind. Medium to full-bodied, it has fantastic texture, with a viscous, rounded feel from the addition of Semillon. It’s an age-worthy wine to drink over the next 10-12 years.
