Note di degustazione
Slightly deeper colored, the 2017 Syrah Kobler Family Vineyard comes from the Green Valley region of the Russian River Valley, which is a cooler region in Sonoma. It offers a meaty, gamey, rather complex style with lots of red and black fruits, ground pepper, forest floor, and subtle bacon fat to go with a medium to full-bodied style on the palate. Possessing ripe, polished tannins, perfectly integrated acidity, and outstanding length, it’s another classic, complex, satisfying Syrah from this team that would stand up nicely in a blind lineup of top Côte Rôtie.

Medium ruby-purple in color, the 2017 Syrah Kobler Family Vineyard, co-fermented with Viognier, opens with notes of chargrill over gregarious boysenberry fruit and violet notes. The palate is medium-bodied, firm and grainy with plush fruit and a lifted, floral finish.
The 2017 Syrah Kobler Family Vineyard, from a site in Green Valley, stands out in this range for its reddish toned profile, brightness and inviting aromatics. Spice, blood orange, star anise and tobacco open first. Deep and layered, with incisive yet relatively suave tannins, the Kobler is quite expressive in this tasting.
