Pouring a youthful ruby with a hint of magenta, the 2022 Pinot Noir Cuvee Chloe comes from vines at the DuMol Estate on the Sonoma Coast that were planted to a Swan clone of Pinot Noir originally sourced from Vosne-Romanée. It reveals a lush and floral bouquet of fresh violets, pure strawberries, mossy herbs, and wet stone. Approachable, with a gentle stony texture, it has a luxurious silky feel and a gently tapered finish that slowly floats away, leaving behind more red-fruited highlights shining through, with a cranberry-noted finish. Drink over the next 10-12 years.

Created in 2005 by John Raytek, Ceritas is one of California’s most exciting producers. The project is focused on making single-site wines from Northern California’s coastal regions, largely Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
