Ripe ruby red-colored, the 2022 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast is lifted and bright in the glass with cranberry, currants, blood orange zest, and dried herbs. Medium-bodied, it’s approachable and elegant, with refined tannins and a clean, lasting finish. It’s beautiful and long, with a lovely, ripe feel through the finish, and it has a bit more richness in the tannins’ structure. Drink it over the next 7-8 years. These are the spring releases from Williams-Selyem and were tasted with Vice President and Director of Winemaking Jeff Mangahas at the estate in the Russian River Valley.
