Punteggio 88/100 · Da bere 2014-2018, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Feb 2014

The 2011 Pinot Noir Eastside Road Neighbors is laced with black cherry, plum, licorice, violets and dark spices. This is one of the richer, deeper Pinots in the range. There is good resonance in the glass, making the 2011 an excellent choice for drinking over the next few years.

Punteggio 89/100 · Da bere 2013-2018, Robert Parker, Dec 2013

The 2011 Pinot Noir Eastside Road Neighbors exhibits a damp foresty floor character along with black cherry, spice, plum and pomegranate notes, a medium to full-bodied mouthfeel, and a round, generous style. This successful, seductive Pinot should be consumed over the next 4-5 years. Alcohols in 2011 were not much lower than in some of the riper vintages, although they were definitely down. The 2011 Williams Selyem Chardonnays range between 13.9% (Heintz) to 14.5% (Olivet Lane). I tend to think this estate's Chardonnay program is underrated as it seems like their Pinot Noirs receive all the attention to the detriment of their Chardonnays, which can be brilliant. Tel. Bright ruby. Ripe cherry and black raspberry aromas are complemented by notes of anise and smoky Indian spices. Broad and concentrated, with more power than the Westside Road Neighbors bottling, offering sweet red and dark berry flavors, a velvety texture and a touch of bitter chocolate. Becomes spicier on the finish, which is firmed by fine-grained tannins.
