Note di degustazione
The 2022 Pinot Noir Eastside Road Neighbors, matured for 15 months in 61% new oak, is bursting with perfumed red fruit! Pomegranate and raspberry are laced with touches of blood orange, iron, allspice, earth and mushroom on the nose. The medium-bodied palate is just as generous, boasting layered, bitters-laced flavors. It’s structured by finely astringent tannins and bright acidity and has a long, detailed, spicy finish. 2,151 cases produced.

The 2022 Pinot Noir Eastside Road Neighbors sports a slightly more magenta ruby color and shows off lovely, ripe aromas of fresh mixed berries, black raspberries, turned earth, and forest herbs. Medium-bodied, it has a bit more depth compared to the AVA blend, with richer concentration, but it never feels heavy. It’s expressive and quite long, with a great feel now, and it’s going to have a solid window for drinking over the next 10 years. These are the spring releases from Williams-Selyem and were tasted with Vice President and Director of Winemaking Jeff Mangahas at the estate in the Russian River Valley.
