The 2016 Pinot Noir Eastside Road Neighbors has a pale to medium ruby-purple color and scents of stewed black tea leaves, tree bark, warm black cherries, mixed berry preserves, nutmeg, cinnamon stick and notes of citrus peel with red fruit sparks at the core—this is wonderfully spicy and smells like the holidays! Light to medium-bodied, it offers great intensity of flavor layers in the mouth with finely dispersed, grainy tannins and fantastic juicy acidity, finishing very long and layered. 1,226 cases produced.

High-toned and floral, this blend of several Eastside Road vineyards is soft and approachable. Moderately structured, it allows the delicate layers of dried herb, cola and dark cherry to shine, lifted by lemony acidity. Virginie Boone
One of the many highlights in this range, the 2016 Pinot Noir Eastside Road Neighbors is going to need a few years in bottle to shed some of its formidable tannin. Powerful and yet also engaging, the 2016 is likely to enjoy a long life once it softens a bit. Exotic spice, Christmas cake, star anise, rosewater and orange peel add myriad shades of nuance to the exotic dark fruit. Patience will be rewarded.
