1990 Stony Hill Chardonnay Napa Valley

This renowned Chardonnay producer has fashioned a nearly impenetrable, backward style of Chardonnay, with high acidity, and considerable weight and richness on the palate. The subtle aromas of lemon butter, apples, minerals, and oak make for an elegant first impression. Beautifully pure and tightly strung, but rich and medium to full-bodied, this wine will benefit from 1-2 years of cellaring; it should last for 5-6 years.
