1993 J. Rochioli Chardonnay Estate

Unfortunately, there are only 200 cases of the 1993 Chardonnay Reserve, a powerful, rich, opulently-styled wine with gobs of fruit, a pure, honeyed fruitiness, dizzingly high alcohol in the finish, and enough acidity to provide freshness and intensity. Given the quality of the wines being produced at Rochioli, it is a shame so little of the production (only 8,500 cases) is estate-bottled. Tel. (707) 433-2305
