The 2018 Chardonnay Porter-Bass Vineyard is bright, precise and finely sculpted. Lemon peel, green pear, flowers, mint and white pepper all open up in the glass. A whole range of bright mineral notes give the 2018 a distinctly saline quality that is impossible to miss. A bit of aeration does wonders here.

Created in 2005 by John Raytek, Ceritas is one of California’s most exciting producers. The project is focused on making single-site wines from Northern California’s coastal regions, largely Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
